This was an ad I had posted on washington dc craigslist in the last week requesting comments and feedback on the sale of my 1989 LX Mustang. I had been getting little interest on it, yet got TONS of interest on my 1987 GT Mustang (now sold). The ’87 was black and mostly stock with a nice sound system, custom built box, new interior pieces, and some cosmetic billet stuff. Well, I got about 20 emails with feedback about my ’89 and the general consensus was the color. Not just the pink exterior, but the red interior. Honestly, I didn’t like the red interior either, but the engine spoke louder to me than that color.

SO, I’m lowering the price of my ’89 from $4500 to $3400, as it’s imperative I get it sold so I can save up money and move out of state. Please pass this on to anyone you may know interested in a modded ‘stang. I do not know the horsepower so don’t ask, but I do know the 1/4 mile track time is 10.9 at best, 11.5 if you’re shifting like a little girl. I have posted the original ad below:

OK you car buyers out there, I’d appreciate some feedback on my mustang for sale. I’ve had this car posted over 5 times (over about a 6 month period), and have only received about 10 or so emails showing interest or wanting to see/test drive the car. My question for you all, is why? As you can see from the mod list below, this is not a P.O.S. and has had a lot of love put into her. If you opened this link you obviously showed some sort of interest, but is there something holding you back? Is it the color??? Is there something that I am missing or something turning you off? I would greatly appreciate any ideas you can give me in selling this badass stang, thanks.

The car is in Stafford, VA and is $4500, but I am lowering that price to $3400 firm. Why is that you ask? Please see my note at top. If you become interested in this car know that it’s all beast of an engine and paint and rims and suspension you would be buying. There is no carpet in the hatch area and no headliner. These are however, cheap parts you can get from Summit, 5.0 Resto, or any other parts place. Please email me at onepimp87stang@yahoo.com if you are serious. SERIOUS is a key word!
